Inside NASCAR Driver Corey LaJoie’s Visit to Dash In

It’s not every day that a NASCAR driver visits your neighborhood convenience store. Recently, Dash In welcomed NASCAR driver and Concord native Corey LaJoie to our Concord, North Carolina location to record an episode of his Stacking Pennies podcast. While sampling our fresh-made food and Top Tier™ Fuel, Corey sat down with Dash In’s Director or Operations, Mauricio Rivas, to talk about what it takes to create a convenience experience that’s worth coming back for.
The conversation explored how Dash In is raising the bar for convenience by combining fresh-made food, quality fuel and genuine hospitality to create a destination guests want to return to again and again.
As Dash In’s first location in North Carolina, our Concord store is quickly becoming more than just a stop along the way. We’re building a neighborhood destination where guests can enjoy quality food, save on fuel and feel genuinely welcomed every time they visit. And with additional North Carolina locations planned, we’re excited to bring the Dash In experience to even more communities across the region.
Raising the Bar for Convenience
At Dash In, we’ve built our brand around a simple idea: convenience should never mean compromising on quality. During the podcast, Mauricio shared that Dash In is designed to be more than a place to fill up your gas tank. Every detail – from the welcoming atmosphere to the fresh-made food – is intended to create a destination where guests can enjoy a great meal, connect with their community and leave feeling refreshed.
That philosophy resonated with Corey, whose Stacking Pennies podcast celebrates the small details that make a big difference. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, a made-to-order meal or a quick, clean stop on a busy day, those moments are what keep guests coming back.
Fresh-Made Food That Goes Beyond Expectations
One of the biggest surprises for first-time visitors is the quality and variety of food available at Dash In. During his visit, Corey sampled several guest favorites, including our Dash In Double Burger, Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, and Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant. He also tried handcrafted beverages, including Dash In’s Peach Tea and Dragon Fruit Refresher.
After tasting the menu, Corey summed up the experience perfectly, describing Dash In as “a restaurant with some gas pumps outside.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
It’s exactly the reaction we hope every first-time guest has. Whether they’re looking for a hearty breakfast before work, a quick lunch between meetings, or a late-night meal after a long shift, Dash In serves fresh-made-to-order meals 24 hours a day, prepared with quality ingredients whenever hunger strikes.
Guests can also order ahead through the Dash In Rewards app, making it even easier to skip the wait, earn rewards, and enjoy their favorite menu items on the go.
Fueling Concord Drivers with Quality and Convenience
While the fresh-made food stole the show, the conversation also highlighted how Dash In brings together quality fuel, rewarding savings, and fast, friendly service in one convenient stop.
Dash In is here to make sure that every guest leaves feeling energized and fueled up for wherever the road takes them next. Just like a NASCAR pit crew, our team at Dash In is here delivering fast, reliable service to help take care of you and your vehicle. From professional racecar drivers to road trippers, commuters, and families on the go, Dash In is proud to be Concord’s destination for fresh food, quality fuel, and rewarding savings — making every stop a great one.
